TRAMS

  • Tram Line No. 3:
Final stations – Sídliště Modřany (Prague 4) and Lehovec (Prague 9). Line No. 3 is with the lenght of 40km the longest tram line in Prague.  It comes to Prague 2 along the Vltava riverside under Vyšehrad rock, crosses Výtoň, Palackého square and Karlovo square, and is directed along Lazarská street at the Prague city-center.

Changing stations:  Palackého nám. (square) and Karlovo  nám (Charles square) – Metro Line B
  • Tram Line No. 4:
Final stations – Sídliště Barrandov (Prague 5) and Čechovo nám. (Prague 10). One of key lines of Prague 2, it connects our borough with the left riverside of Vltava river. It crosses river from Smíchov along Palackého bridge and comes to Palackého square. Then it comes across the whole Prague 2 – Karlovo nám. (Charles square), I.P.Pavlova , and nám. Míru. It continues via Vinohrady to final station in Vršovice (Prague 10).

Changing stations:   Palackého nám. and Karlovo nám. – Metro Line B; I.P.Pavlova – Metro Line C; Nám. Míru – Metro Line A
  • Tram Line No. 6:
Final stations – Kotlářka (Prague 5) and Kubánské nám (Prague 10). This line comes from historical city center along Národní třída and passes into our borough on Spálená ul.. Then it is directed across Karlovo nám. and through Ječná ul. to I.P.Pavlova, where it changes direction along Bělehradská ul. to Nusle and continues through Prague 4 borough  to Vršovice.

Changing stations: Karlovo nám. – Metro Line B; I.P. Pavlova – Metro Line C
  • Tram Line No. 7:
 Final stations – Radlická (Prague 5) and Ústřední dílny DP Malešice (Prague 10). From the left riverside of Vltava river it comes to Prague 2 across Palackého bridge and continues along the river to Výtoň, where it leaves the river and is directed across Albertov and Ostrčilovo nám. to Nusle and further to Prague 4 and Prague 10 boroughs.

  • Tram Line No. 10:
Final stations – Sídliště Řepy (Prague 5) and Sídliště Ďáblice (Prague 8). Another key line, crossing the Prague 2 in west-east direction.  It comes from Palackého nám. and Karlovo nám.  to I.P. Pavlova and continues to nám. Míru,where it follows Korunní ul. to Vinohradská vodárna (historical water tower) and further to Prague 3.

Changing stations: Palackého and Karlovo nám. – Metro Line B; I.P.Pavlova – Metro Line C; nám. Míru – Metro Line A
  • Tram Line No. 11:
Final stations – Spořilov (Prague 4) and Černokostelecká (Prague 10). This line comes from Prague 4, passes Bělehradská ul. to Tylovo nám., where it crosses important traffic junction – I.P.Pavlova and continues to the upper part of Václavské nám. (Wenceslas’ square). Then it turns right and along Vinohradská třída heads to Prague 3, Jiřího z Poděbrad and Flora.

Changing station: I.P.Pavlova – Metro Line C
  • Tram Line No. 14:
Final stations – Sídliště Barrandov (Prague 5) and Vozovna Kobylisy (Prague 8). The line, following Vltava river on both riversides, crosses Prague 2 only in short passage between Palackého nám. , Jiráskovo nám., Myslíkova and Lazarská ul.

Changing stations: Palackého and Karlovo nám. – Metro Line B
  • Tram Line No. 16:
Final stations – Sídliště Řepy (Prague 5) and Spojovací (Prague 9). This tram line follows the tram line No. 10 on its way across Prague 2.
  • Tram Line No. 17:
Final stations – Sídliště Modřany (Prague 4) and Sídliště Ďáblice (Prague 8). This line follows the Vltava river from Modřany, across the Prague 2 territory from Vyšehrad rock and Výtoň to Palackého and Jiráskovo nám. Then it is directed to National Theater and Staroměstská.

Changing station: Palackého nám. – Metro Line B (Karlovo nám. Station)
  • Tram Line No. 18:
Final stations – Petřiny (Prague 6) and Vozovna Pankrác (Prague 4). Tram Line No. 18 crosses the historical city center from Prague 6 and Prague Castle across Malá Strana and Staré Město. From Národní třída it comes along Spálená ul. to Prague 2 and continues across Karlovo nám. to Botanická zahrada (Botanical Garden).  Then it passes by university quarter and through Ostrčilovo nám.  heads tu Nusle and further to Prague 4.

Changing station: Karlovo nám. Metro Line B
  • Tram Line No. 21:
Final Station – Nádraží Braník (Prague 4). Circular line No. 21 comes from Braník Railway station along the Vltava river to Podolí, then it passes the Vyšehrad rock and goes over Výtoň, Palackého and Jiráskovo nám. to Národní divadlo (National Theater), where it turns right to Národní třída. Then it goes back along Spálená ul. and Karlovo nám. to Vltava river, where it follows back its original route tu Nádraží Braník.

Changing station: Palackého and Karlovo nám. – Metro Line B
  • Tram Line No. 22:
Final Stations – Bílá Hora (Prague 6) and Nádraží Hostivař (Prague 10). The line connects the most important Prague sights and  is directed from Bílá Hora along Břevnovský klášter (Břevnov Monastery) to Prague Castle, and further across Malá Strana a Staré Město to Nové Město, where it comes to Prague 2. It crosses our borrough across Karlovo nám., I.P.Pavlova and nám. Míru and follows along Francouzská street to Vršovice and Strašnice.

Changing stations: Karlovo nám (Metro Line B), I.P.Pavlova (Metro Line C), náměstí Míru (Metro Line A)
  • Tram Line No. 24:
Final Stations – Kubánské náměstí (Prague 10) – Kobylisy (Prague 8). This line comes from Vršovice, crosses Nusle, and under Nuselský most (bridge) follows to Albertov and Botanical garden. Then it crosses Karlovo nám. and goes along Lazarská and Vodičkova street to Václavské nám. (Venceslaus Sqare) and Masarykovo nádraží (railway station) and to Karlín.

Changing station: Karlovo nám. (Metro Line B).
