Accessibility Declaration

This document contains a declaration concerning the accessibility of the web presentation of the Borough of Prague 2, a list with the description of keyboard shortcuts applicable throughout the presentation, a description of non-standard formats used, and the contact information of the technical web administrator.

The web presentation of the Borough of Prague 2 has been created with a view to accessibility and barrier-free access, such that it would meet all of the important principles of website accessibility, as set out by the Rules for the Development of an Accessible Website, drafted for the purpose of the amendment of Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on Public Administration Information Systems.

The XHTML 1.0 Transitional Pro mark-up language has been used for describing all information on this website, and a style CSS standard for the description of the appearance.  Nearly all sizes are stated in relative units, and the font-size can therefore be increased as required.

All links in the text are underlined.  If a link leads outside of this website, it is equipped with the description [another website].  If a link opens up into a new window, it is designated with the description [new window].

Some information on this website is available in a format other than text or hypertext.

You may encounter documents in the following formats:

  • PDF – Adobe Acrobat Reader or some Open Standard programs listed on is available for free downloading for this format.
  • DOC, XLS, PPT – Microsoft provides readers for free downloading for its products from the Office line.
  • RTF – can display and edit most commonly used text editors.
  • ZIP – certain documents may be compressed due to their size.  There are a number of programs available on the Internet that can decompress this format.
