THE NUSLE BRIDGE
The Nusle Bridge (formerly the Klement Gottwald Bridge) connects Prague 2 and Prague 4 and carries the North-South Trunk Road and Line C of the Prague underground in a tube. The frame bridge structure made from stressed concrete with five sections is 485 meters long and 26.70 meters wide. It spans the Nusle Valley at a height of 43 meters. The bridge was completed in 1973, based on a design of V. Michálek, S. Hubička, and S. Kobr.
